Idk man, for me it’s just the luck of the draw. Last night I ate two jalapeño burgers my mom grilled, a pint of Ben and Jerry’s, two pickles, and two apples with peanutbutter and I’m sh*tting my brains out as I type this.

I’m in for answers too. I believe I destroyed my gut/intestinal biome. Small improvements but still not ideal sh*ts. Haven’t had a healthy solid brown turd in years. Has diarrhea last for over a year mostly liquid. Got more active cleaned up diet it’s turd shaped but it’s very soft and mushy and it’s light green. It’s a mess to clean up after.

Really wanna join the military and if I can’t have healthy poops it’s going to be a huge problem for me. I can’t be washing sh*t out of my ass in basic training showering with 10 other dudes. Even better is if I can achieve ghost poops almost all the time, that’s really what I’m going for. But frick I’d be happy just having those normal brown poops that only require a few wipes instead of my current half a roll of toilet paper and then need an immediate shower after anyways to be thoroughly cleaned.

My last step is quitting energy drinks. Supposedly the artifices sweeteners in them can frick with your gut and poops. The issue started when I began drinking them. Coffee isn’t an option it makes me anxious the synthetic caffeine doesn’t though need to quit.

I had half liquid sh*ts for the past 2-3 weeks of exam preparations. Day after I am finished it's back to normal again.

It might just be chronic stress, which is a killer.

I was insanely stressed when it started actually. Had a job working 7 days a week often exceeding 12 hours in a day, interacting with hundreds of people for 8 of those hours who were all super b***hy and upset about things unrelated to me. Managing a team of dipsh*ts who kept fricking up in a super simple job which created more work (15 hour days could have been 10 hour days if they did their job right) and also had me getting b***hed out by the boss who was cutting corners and underpaying me. It was hell. I guess that makes sense. Probably a combo of stress and what I mentioned I think it is

        you need
        >beans
gives your gut lots of resistant starch to feed on. white potatoes are also an option
        >bulgur
a processed whole grain that is simple to digest. whole wheat couscous is essentially the same thing
        >1 tbs psyllium
this will help soak up the unwanted butt juice. metamucil is fine. don't overdo it and do not get pills.
        >home fermented dairy
learn how to make your own yogurt. it's very simple. find reuteri drops or make your own fermented dairy from liquid baby probiotics that are designed to soothe runny sh*ts.
        >artificial sweeteners
don't worry about it. once you have the above dialed in you'll be sh*tting like a king.

        >be as and potatoes
I mainly eat potatoes and no change. I’ll try adding beans.
        >bulgur
I have to look into that idk what it is but I’m desperate enough to try anything at this point.
        >psyllium
I got a pack off bulk supplements it’s the loose powder. It kinda works but I haven’t taken it consistently. Often there’s no real change so I stop taking it because it tastes like sh*t. Also it made me constipated ine of the times I used it and when I finally sh*t I had the same problem anyways, super soft bright green log with a ton of cleanup.
        >home fermented dairy
I’ll also look into this. Greek yogurt seems to kinda help but not significantly. I wanted to get raw goats milk for other reasons
        >also
I noticed popcorn makes the biggest difference of anything I’ve tried. It’s crazy. 1-2 bags in a day the next day my sh*t is a little darker colored and less soft
        Also
Sometimes if I sh*t enough, there will be a small brown turd at the end. 99% green as described earlier and then a small like 1.5” normal healthy brown turd. So I know I CAN still sh*t normal. This makes me think it’s less likely to be celiac or some sh*t horrible and more so either my poop is moving too fast or I’m over hydrating or I’ve destroyed my gut biome or I don’t fricking know.

Saved your post, I hope this works. Need to poop as normal as I can for 10 weeks at least.

          what gives?

You have a gallbladder problem. If you eat goods withess fat and your stool is darker its because you have gallbladder/bile issues. Especially if your stool is pale

Eh, it's actually good to preemptively quit energy drinks prior to boot camp/basic training. You're not getting anything but Gatorade and water for months. When I was on Parris Island many moons ago, all I had was fricking red and yellow Gatorade for 3 months. One day I finally got to have a mouthful of orange, sh*t changed my life that day.

Do you a lot of chew gum? One of the most common artificial sweeteners used in gum is sorbitol, which is a laxative. I went hard on gum for a while and kept having the sh*ts. During my elimination diet to figure out the cause I, of course, chewed more gum as I used it as a filler whenever I wanted something sweet and the diarrhea got worse. I ran out of gum mid week (I grocery shop on weekends) so I had a few day spawn when I was out of gum and suddenly my bowels were cured and I realized it had been the gum the whole time.

Starch gives me huge dry logs and constipation.
I eat only very watery non digestible starches now and I barely have to poo anymore.
The other missing thing for the constipation was supplementing with electrolytes.
Now I just sh*t small soft but not overly sticky balls every few days.

remember that vegetarian diets have been linked to more parasitical infections than any meat diets. sh*t is literally just poison at this point.

How are you taking your ground beef? If I make it into burgers, normal sh*ts. Bolognese or chilli and it comes out like it went in.
Wet and sloppy goes in, wet and sloppy comes out.

When you have constant diarrhea your electrolytes can get dangerously low. It dehydrates you like crazy.

What are you drinking alongside the eggs/meats? I used to drink Tea with it and would literally be sh*tting water within 30 minutes until I cut it out and give it around an hour and a half, or drink something else.

I haven't been able to fart or sh*t more than liquid for the past three days. A couple days ago I couldn't keep fluids down and was in extreme pain from gas. Been doing 60MG of milk of magnesia for a couple days. My colon is completely clean but feels inflamed (i poked it, feels soft and weird inside, lot of mucus in my poo) and I'm not sure if there's a blockage, but I can see chia seeds from the granola I ate a lot of a few days ago. Every now and then I can fart, but it's a small amount. Can't go to a doctor. I cannot.

What are my options, realistically? Keep on the Milk of Magnesia since it's been helping, switch to propylene glycol? Feels like there's a lump in my guts before the downward colon. I feel bubbles in there now and then, but it's mostly quiet. I don't want to die of septic shock or perforate my intestines.

Nurse recommends propylene glycol, but it says not to take it if you suspect a bowel obstruction and I think I do. I can't fricking fart. I feel bubbling around in there but it's like my anus is sewn shut.

    What can I do.
